Great sight for life….

Most of the times at ICU ward  at any hospital staff see themselves  dealing with unconscious or semiconscious patient , some people prefer to deal with such patients because at least they will not keep asking you and nagging at something , whats this whats that and bla bla bla ……

for me i feel that its hard  &  a huge responsibilty to deal with such one for one reason; they don’t explain or talk …..that’s mean that you have to figure out what they are complaining  or at least may complain of …..for example , when you sleep at night by a small wrinkle bellow your back you will wake up to move it and make your bed in away you feel more comfortable  …..but in these cases you should guess ( ethically ) what they are complaining from? where is the pain ?

sometimes ,to be honest , for moments we forget that it’s a human being here need some one to talk to and feel with , even if  he/she is unconscious its a soul at the end !!!  a father of someone, a dear to another .

actually all the team should remember & remind themselves to  slow down and think  more  about this issue , oh ya  these patients listen and feel  for sure ,  researches said that theoretically, but lately in practice i have encountered  it regularly as if GOD wants me to remember if i forgot for a moment  .

what sounds crazy here  , yesterday   there was a patient 95 year admitted to our ward  , he was a religious father , he came back from al-fajer prayer at 5 am  when he saw a quarrel and tried to calm down every body when a guy hit him right away in his head and cause him a hemorrhage in his head and since then he is unconscious …his wife came to see him and started to cry beside him and tell us that he was a good father and suddenly he started to move his hands in away as telling her that i hear you i am here its okay….in this moment I was shocked sobhan allah they listen really they feel OMG !!!!!……

at another story i found these papers at my patients’ locker, his daughter wrote it while she was visiting  him :

Reminder : be thankful to GOD always for being a healthy person ….its a treasure .
